That is why the advice given by former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, is very important right now. On November 12, 2025, Saraki met with the PDP Board of Trustees Reconciliation Team, led by Amb. Hassan Adamu. During the meeting, he spoke clearly and honestly about what the party must do to fix its problems. His message was simple: the planned PDP National Convention in Ibadan on November 15–16 should be stopped for now, and a Caretaker Committee should be set up instead. Saraki’s point makes sense.
