WE ARE SEAFARERS AND WE NEED AN SSA TO THE GOVERNOR ON MARITIME AFFAIRS !!!

In our personal and professional lives, we are constantly hit with one adversity after the other, most of which we have no control over. But the four things we have total control over is how we react, how we adapt, how we breathe, and how we take action. The idea in most of our youths coming to the social media to insult our State Governor and other Elders of the state  on this successor thing ,is very very unhealthy. My fellow seafarers ,if you are in that league , please change your course. Choosing A Successor , is none of your business. And whoever might be  , is not your concern either. So some big men didn't like him If anyone did anything evil in his presence he would expose them and make them face the wrath of the law. From one State to another, he was transferred and he kept moving. This was how he moved about for 34yrs and 5months. For all of

The NUC Executive Secretary further justified the commission's decision to approve the University of Education, Ijanikin/Epe and the Lagos State University of Science and Technology, by saying that Lagos government has been exceptional in the running of the Lagos State University for the past 39 years.

TUESDAY CORNER (091)

Population control is conversation many Nigerians prefer not to engage in. However, any nation that desires strategic growth must first compare its population with its resources. In 1962, Nigeria's population was about 47 million, after the 1991 census the figure had grown up to 88 million and by 2006 there were over 140 million Nigerians. Speculatively, Nigeria's population is about 216 million at present but the forthcoming census exercise will determine the real figures. Of course, the figures might not be accurate, given the methods of data collection and the politics that permeates census in Nigeria, but in any case we must admit that we are having a threatening population; not just because of the numbers, but because of the resources which do not match the population. An unchecked population of unskilled, uneducated, and unhealthy people sets the backdrop for the rise in violent crimes, corruption, insecurity, and any other vice your can think of.  It might su

Meet The World Dirtiest Man

Amou Haji is an 87-year-old man and he hasn't taken a bath in 67 years. He resides in Dejgah which is a village in the Kermanshah province of Iran. He also looks like the Biblical Moses who fell down a chimney.  He is always covered in ash and dirt. He hasn't taken a bath for nearly seven decades because he is scared of water. He is of the belief that if he will bathe, he will fall ill. What is even more unusual is that his diet consists of rotten meat of dead animals, especially porcupines. He also enjoys smoking but it is not tobacco he prefers. He likes to smoke animal feces out of a rusty pipe.  According to Tehran Times, Haji decided to live an isolated life after he went through some emotional setbacks in his youth. He wears a war helmet not to fight off enemies but to keep him warm during winters. He finds unusual places to live, in like a hole in the ground resembling a grave, or an open brick shack built by people who felt bad for hi
