OPEN LETTER TO HIS EXCELLENCY ON A RUINED POTENTIAL by Emmanuel Nyabam

Dear Governor Caleb Mutfwang (The People's Governor), OPEN LETTER TO HIS EXCELLENCY ON A RUINED POTENTIAL  I write you today with mixed feelings sire. First I celebrate the liberation of our nation and state but I have a deep pain as I know that our state is the basket of hope for the nation.  I am reminded how the people celebrated the final victory at the court and like most I saw the shackles break off the people. Yes, a few policies have hurt the people but I think we can think through to improve and that is why I write you today with pain in my soul. I passed the legacy project of the Jang administration ASTC (Agric Service straining Center) farm in Vom and I literally froze and cried in pain as I saw this magnificent dream washed up and dead but needing revival as a source of hope and employment for our people... A short visit to Lagos and I noted quite a number of green houses in a place where space is a challenge and we have that space that can transform an...

*End of an Era: Puff Daddy's Legacy Faces Turmoil Amidst Ongoing Controversies**

Sean Combs, known by his stage name Puff Daddy, is no stranger to the limelight. For over three decades, he has been a dominant figure in music, fashion, and business, shaping much of the hip-hop industry as we know it. From founding Bad Boy Records to his success as a producer and entrepreneur, Combs built an empire on charisma, talent, and sharp business instincts. However, as recent controversies swirl around him, the legacy he meticulously crafted seems to be at a crossroads, facing its most serious challenges yet. ### **A Career Built on Innovation and Hustle** Puff Daddy burst onto the scene in the early 1990s, and he quickly made his mark, both behind the scenes and in front of the camera. He was instrumental in launching the careers of major artists like The Notorious B.I.G., Faith Evans, and Mase. His production style, blending slick beats with heavy sampling, redefined hip-hop’s sound in the '90s. His debut solo album, *No Way Out* (1997), won him a Grammy and...

QUAANPAN IN 2024

Qua’an Pan Local Government in Plateau State is a tragic example of wasted potential. Despite the vast abundance of both human and natural resources, the area remains underdeveloped and neglected. Basic amenities that should be a given in this day and age—such as electricity and pipe-borne water—are still missing. Many communities in Qua'an Pan are forced to rely on generator-powered electricity or live in complete darkness. Clean water is still a distant dream for most, as there are no reliable sources of pipe-borne water. What makes the situation even worse is how the politicians continuously exploit the youth for their selfish ambitions. These politicians come around during election seasons, making empty promises and offering handouts, only to abandon the people after securing their seats. Instead of focusing on development, they manipulate the youth to serve their personal agendas, keeping them locked in a cycle of poverty and dependency. With Qua'an Pan’s wealt...

THE WOUNDED SOLDIER

Slah Jibsnakha was once a name spoken with awe and admiration. He had been a mighty warrior, his strength and skill in battle renowned across kingdoms. Slah had led armies to victory, conquering territories that had long seemed unconquerable. He was the protector of his people, their shield against enemies, and his valor was celebrated in songs and stories. In his prime, he had been untouchable. Kings sought his counsel, and soldiers looked to him as a figure of inspiration. But war takes its toll on even the strongest, and in the heat of a bloody battle, Slah was struck by a blow that would change his life forever. An enemy’s spear pierced his side, a wound so deep that even after it healed, it left him weakened, his strength diminished. No longer the invincible warrior, Slah found himself fading into the shadows of his former glory. His armor, once shining and impenetrable, now sat unused, tarnished by neglect. The people who once depended on him—those who praised him and stood besid...
