QUAANPAN IN 2024

Qua’an Pan Local Government in Plateau State is a tragic example of wasted potential. Despite the vast abundance of both human and natural resources, the area remains underdeveloped and neglected. Basic amenities that should be a given in this day and age—such as electricity and pipe-borne water—are still missing. Many communities in Qua'an Pan are forced to rely on generator-powered electricity or live in complete darkness. Clean water is still a distant dream for most, as there are no reliable sources of pipe-borne water.

What makes the situation even worse is how the politicians continuously exploit the youth for their selfish ambitions. These politicians come around during election seasons, making empty promises and offering handouts, only to abandon the people after securing their seats. Instead of focusing on development, they manipulate the youth to serve their personal agendas, keeping them locked in a cycle of poverty and dependency.

With Qua'an Pan’s wealth of natural resources and the talent of its people, there is no reason for this level of backwardness. This local government has the potential to thrive, yet it remains stuck in the past. It’s heartbreaking to see how poorly managed resources and a lack of political will have stunted its growth.

Where are all the politicians from Qua'an Pan? What have they done to improve the situation? It’s as if they have forgotten the people who put them in power, choosing instead to chase their personal gain. Their silence and inaction are deafening while the communities they claim to represent continue to suffer.

A motorcycle was snapped up by an unknown  person(s) in the office of the Nigeria Police Force, Kwalla . The motorcycle, a Jincheng model belonging to one Naanman of Tugunwan Street in Kwalla town of Quaan-Pan LGA was stolen sometimes in November 2021 when the owner went to the police station to report an incident. 2023: Catholics Berate Lalong Over Attempt To Drag Pope Into Politics

August 11, 2022  Concerned Catholics in Nigeria have called for the suspension of Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong for dragging the name of Pope into local politics that has nothing to do with the Church. According to the group, Lalong should be punished for bringing the name of Pope and the Catholic Church to disrepute while giving his reasons for accepting to serve as Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
