ANOTHER 6 KILLED IN KURU MINING FIELD

KURU, PLATEAU STATE | FIELD REPORT Six men were reportedly killed in cold blood at a mining site in Kuru, Jos South Local Government Area , Plateau State, in what residents describe as a deliberate and targeted attack on unarmed civilians . According to eyewitness accounts and community sources, the victims were engaged in legitimate mining activities when they were violently attacked and killed. No provocation was reported. No confrontation was recorded. The men were not combatants. Kima Jessica Jerry Godwin can’t access her father’s pension and gratuity, it’s over 17yrs now. 💔 Nankling Titus her Dad died in 2014 as a DIRECTOR and what her family were given wasn’t up to 500 thousand naira. 💔 Akutse Joseph Godwin lost her dad in 2015 again as a DIRECTOR and weren’t given a dime. 💔 RoyalEdith Dagoet lost her Dad in 2004 as a Principal, he was never declared dead and so salary payments were made in his name. ‎BINGHAM UNIVERSITY RECEIVES ASSORTED TEXTBOOKS DONATED BY UK-BASED ACADEMIC, DR. MOSES DANG‎

‎In a remarkable gesture aimed at advancing Nigeria’s education sector, a Plateau State–born, UK-based academic, Dr. Moses Dang, has donated three boxes of assorted textbooks to Bingham University, New Karu, Nasarawa State. ‎ ‎Receiving the donation, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Haruna Kuje Ayuba, described the gesture as a “valuable contribution to teaching, learning, and research.” He emphasized the importance of academic partnerships and assured that the University would formally acknowledge the donor through an official letter of appreciation. ‎ ‎Also speaking, the Director of the Centre for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Leadership Studies, Dr. Sabastine Abu, noted that the donation was made possible through Bingham University’s international collaboration with scholars abroad.
