As at 1st June 2022, here are some concerns brought by some of my friends here concerning gratuity and pensions.
Kima Jessica Jerry Godwin can’t access her father’s pension and gratuity, it’s over 17yrs now. 💔
Nankling Titus her Dad died in 2014 as a DIRECTOR and what her family were given wasn’t up to 500 thousand naira. 💔
Akutse Joseph Godwin lost her dad in 2015 again as a DIRECTOR and weren’t given a dime. 💔
RoyalEdith Dagoet lost her Dad in 2004 as a Principal, he was never declared dead and so salary payments were made in his name. Still haven’t collected his entitlements. 💔
Simi Wealthwells Wurim Lost her Dad over 22 years ago, his file is no where to be found in the service commission. 💔
Big-one Papius Ayo lost his Dad in 2009, he said they heard about the benefits but never saw it. 💔
Victor Idi Peter's said it’s been 10 years no benefits. 💔
Kasandra Kanke Deshi said they are still trying and striving to get their parent’s benefits. 💔
Rinret Walle lost her Dad in 2010 the only treatment they got was the silence. 💔
Sir these statements were made the height of your campaigns, way back in 2022, we tagged you believing that this should be one of your major goals while in office, expectations, hopes and a sigh of relief were offered thinking the misery will end and families will get what they rightfully deserve. 💔
To open my app today in 2026, where all those wrongs were hoped to be corrected, where all those pending issues were meant to be settled, to see a close friend and a sister Quintessence Mafeng Jay crying on behalf of her father the legendary “BASKET MOUTH” as a journalist I know how much his name carries I know how much his works have paved way for many. 💔
I might be very young but when it comes to legacy, I know and respect the name DANIEL DAVID DALYOP, he was the VERY DARK MAN before very dark man, spoke for the people, represented the people, brought their plights out, voice of the voiceless and he carried the cries of the people, a rugged journalist and a true gentleman. 🙇🏾🫡
With all he has done, championed and spoken about to know that YEARS AFTER HIS RETIREMENT HE’S STILL YET TO SEE HIS BENEFITS ISN’T JUST HEARTBREAKING BUT A DELIBERATE ACT BY THOSE INVOLVED. It’s a slap to your reputation as an astute, God fearing, unbiased, humble, honest and considerate leader, a reputation you’ve built for years and carried with grace. 🙏🏾
Sir we appeal to you to look into these cases, i believe this should be as important to your media team, as posts made by detractors to defame you, if they can respond to such posts sir, we pray they respond to this too. They always jump into action in tracking your defamers and bringing them to justice we expect a SWIFT AND RAPID RESPONSE TOO ON THESE ISSUES SIR. 😭
We pray that you critically and personally look at the ministries involved in handling such cases sir, know the issues, address the problems, remove the elements, appoint competent people and realign these ministries to ensure total transparency and accountability sir, this will leave a legacy in your name that will forever be imprinted in the sands of time. 🥲
We’ve heard cases of some workers at the Plateau Pension Board asking for some percentage before benefits are paid? 🤨
We’ve heard cases where workers deny beneficiaries of a deceased person their entitlements. 💔
These are worrisome sir, outrageous and EVIL. 🤦🏾
Sir, the legend is sick and battling, he is not in a good shape, his children are doing their absolute best to take of him but you are aware of the current hardships and average Nigerian is going through, so we all come together to beg you, using him as a point of contact. 🙇🏾
Please sir DANIEL DAVID DALYOP needs his gratuity as well as a HOST OF OTHERS. 🙏🏾
Let them reap the fruits of their labour while still here, for those who are gone, let this be the FINAL ACT OF LOVE TO THEIR FAMILIES. 🙏🏾
And to any data boy/girl who will be unfortunate to come and comment rubbish here, know that this is not an attack but a plea, but if you feel the need to come, you have PARENTS AND THEY AIN’T IMMORTAL. 💔
