Kenyan high court judge declares being housewife a full-time payable job

Kenyan High Court judge, Teresia Matheka has reportedly declared being a housewife a fulltime job that should attract some form of compensation.   The judge who was presiding over a matrimonial property dispute, said that it is unfair for courts to rule that housewives do not contribute anything to the financial progress of the family.   The complainant is said to be a divorced lady who sought to have their family property sold and the money shared equally between her and her ex-husband.   The Judge stated that housewives should not say they don't work since they provide services in the home that are otherwise outsourced and paid for. She added that it is unfair to only rely on seen income and the mindset that one has to contribute money to the marriage to find value.   Matheka said;    “It is easy for the spouse working away from home and sending money to lay claim to the whole property purchased and developed with that money by the spouse staying at home and taking ca

SPECIAL TRIBUTE TO THE HERO OF PAN NATION... HON MUKLA DAMA

HEROES NEVER DIE To cap the significance of the role played by this gone but not forgotten soul, Mukla, I start with an epilogue by Walsh Porter Esq. to William Dimond in a play "Hero of the South; "But we have Heroes, it must be confessed, From South as well as North, from East and West, Long, long, I trust, to grasp the immortal prize, For he, who lives a Hero, never dies!" Death have knocked and a Hero answered.....his people weep for the sacrifice.   On September 17th, 2021 in the capital city of Plateau State lies an energetic and vibrant young man who hails from the historical Koffiar Hills of Quaan-Pan LGA, considered a hero for his bravery in telling the truth and readiness to accept its consequences, gives up his life. WEEKEND HEALTH NUGGETS BY KIMKY PHARMACY.... PHARM KIM BOT

KIMKY Pharmacy Weekend Health Nuggets: How to know Calcium Carbide aided ripened Banana and Plantain: - Non-Uniform colouration. - Easy to detach from the bunch. - Floats when placed in water. - Darkens if allowed for just a day. - Becomes rotten and softened on standing. DO NOT CHEW! This aided ripening is an irreversible phenomenon involving series of biochemical, physiological and organoleptic changes in the Banana and Plantain. Sadly, it alters healthy metabolites by increasing SUGAR and carbohydrate levels, changing colour, texture, aroma, phenolic coda and organic acids. In all, consuming Calcium Carbide aided ripened Banana or Plantain will ultimately put you at risk of: - Hypertension - Diabetes Mellitus - Rheumatoid arthritis - Infertility - Transient memory loss - Weak penile erection in males - Kidney related disorders - Hormonal and electrolyte imbalances. Way forward: Look for naturally ripened ones if you must eat. #StaySafe HAPPY WORLD PHARMACISTS DAY TO US AT KIMKY PHAR

KADUNA UPDATE: Commissioning of Tomato Jos Tomato Paste Factory

The commissioning today of the tomato processing plant of Tomato Jos is a fitting conclusion to KADInvest 2.0. It is a clear testimony of the steady progression of the investors that have responded to our consistent pitch about the economic potentials that inhere in our land and our people. I am honoured to commission this factory. When we performed the groundbreaking for this project on 27 January 2020, we welcomed it as a vital investment in the agricultural potentials of Kaduna State. We are grateful to Tomato Jos for choosing to make Kaduna home. The record of Mira Mehta and her team in helping our farmers to improve their yields is itself an assurance that Tomato Jos will continue to pull the community up. The impact statements from community members are a bigger tribute than we can pay to the company.  We wish Tomato Jos every success in this transition from growing tomato to also processing it.
