KWALLA UNITED FC RECEIVES DONATION OF TEAM JERSEYS

Kwalla United Football Club in Quaanpan local government Plateau state has received a generous donation of customized jerseys from Engineer Charles David Tanko, a philanthropist and the Duke of Jos, currently based in the United Kingdom.

The jerseys were presented to the team by Lagya Chindongnaan and Alfred David Tanko, representatives of Engineer Tanko's Project Manager and family, respectively.

The team expressed gratitude through their head coach, Mahadi Lamis, and the captain, who represented the old players. They expressed optimism about future partnerships with Engineer Tanko to build the team's capacity and explore opportunities to showcase local talent globally.
This donation is part of Engineer Tanko's Quaan-Pan Development Initiative (QDPI), aimed at promoting grassroots sports development in the locality. In a message, he encouraged the players to perform to the best of their abilities, promising rewards and support for their efforts.

2023: Catholics Berate Lalong Over Attempt To Drag Pope Into Politics

August 11, 2022  Concerned Catholics in Nigeria have called for the suspension of Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong for dragging the name of Pope into local politics that has nothing to do with the Church. According to the group, Lalong should be punished for bringing the name of Pope and the Catholic Church to disrepute while giving his reasons for accepting to serve as Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
