This training is to equip the finance staff of the state on the the operational use of the (PLAGIFMIS) platform, a system dedicated to bring efficiency, effectiveness and transparency in governance.

This monumental development is in line with Governor Caleb Mutfwang's drive to automate and digitalize financial transactions and other processes of government as the administration aim to attain full fledged e-Governance in the state, a feat almost at hand.

The event was declared open by Director General PICTDA Engr. Dominic Datong Gwaman whose remark highlights the significance of the development on governance in the state going forward. He charged participants to pay attention, concentrate, learn and asking questions while experts and personnel of PICTDA will be available to assist them where necessary.

The Accountant General of the State Mrs. Nanret Manset who was represented by the Director Treasury Operation, Mr Dauda Ezekiel Daschen, stressed the importance of transparency in reporting financial transactions using the PLAGIFMIS platform and hence stressed the role the training will play in transiting Plateau State from outdated paper based transactions to the digital and ICT driven process, which according to him is faster, transparent and more efficient.
He conclude by saying using this platform will allow government, national and international organization to see the tranparency of government in the state in going forward.
