GOVERNOR MUTFWANG CONGRATULATES KEMI NANDAP ON HER APPOINTMENT AS COMPTROLLER-GENERAL, NIGERIA IMMIGRATION SERVICE

Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has congratulated Kemi Nandap on her appointment as the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), effective from 1 March, 2024.

Governor Mutfwang praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for choosing Nandap, who he described as the most qualified person for the position, given her vast knowledge and experience in the service.

The Governor expressed confidence that Nandap would excel in her new role, having previously served as Deputy Comptroller-General in charge of the Migration Directorate of the Service.

He urged her to leverage her expertise to enhance the ongoing reforms in the service and contribute to the Renewed Hope administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by ensuring effective and efficient service delivery.

He also encouraged her to introduce innovations that would boost the nation's security through optimal border security management.

On behalf of himself, the government and peace-loving people of Plateau State, Governor Mutfwang extended his warmest congratulations to Kemi Nandap and wished her a fruitful tenure.

2023: Catholics Berate Lalong Over Attempt To Drag Pope Into Politics

August 11, 2022  Concerned Catholics in Nigeria have called for the suspension of Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong for dragging the name of Pope into local politics that has nothing to do with the Church. According to the group, Lalong should be punished for bringing the name of Pope and the Catholic Church to disrepute while giving his reasons for accepting to serve as Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
