NATIONAL LEADERSHIP OF THE SENATE, PLATEAU STATE STUDENTS EXPRESSED WORRY OVER INCESSANT KILLINGS

The Leadership of The SENATE, NAPSS National Body is deeply saddened by the recent wave of violence and killings in Mangu and Plateau State. Such acts of senseless violence have no place in our society and must be unequivocally condemned. Our hearts go out to the families and friends of the victims affected by these incidents.

We call on the authorities to diligently investigate these incidents and ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice. Additionally, we urge for the immediate implementation of measures to foster peace and security in the region.

Furthermore, we encourage all members of the affected communities to remain calm and refrain from acts of retaliation. Let us come together to promote dialogue, understanding, and reconciliation in the face of these tragic events.

It is our collective responsibility to work towards a society where peace and harmony prevail. We stand in solidarity with the people of Mangu and Plateau State during this difficult time."

A motorcycle was snapped up by an unknown  person(s) in the office of the Nigeria Police Force, Kwalla . 2023: Catholics Berate Lalong Over Attempt To Drag Pope Into Politics

August 11, 2022  Concerned Catholics in Nigeria have called for the suspension of Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong for dragging the name of Pope into local politics that has nothing to do with the Church. According to the group, Lalong should be punished for bringing the name of Pope and the Catholic Church to disrepute while giving his reasons for accepting to serve as Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
