Monday's Triumph: A Tale of Resilience and Success

Title: ""

In the bustling mechanic village of Bedwell in Calabar, Cross River, back in 2022, I found myself fixing my car and in need of a phone charger. That's when I encountered Monday, a young man with dreams as big as his wheelbarrow filled with chargers and phone accessories.

Engaging in a conversation with Monday revealed his aspirations of owning a large electronic shop. I shared words of encouragement, urging him to persevere in his hustle and maintain honesty with his clients. As our paths diverged, he requested my number for reasons unknown. Despite the mystery, I obliged, and we parted ways.

Fast forward to September 2023, Monday reached out to me with exciting news – he had secured a small shop at the popular Etim Edem Park. Intrigued, I made my way to witness the transformation. To my delight, Monday's mini-shop was brimming with gadgets, a testament to his unwavering determination.

Witnessing Monday's progress left me both amazed and proud of his resilience. Eager to show support, on my subsequent visit, I brought along gadgets from my own store to contribute to his growing business. Monday, an Igbo man known for his sincerity, continued to impress with his dedicated work ethic.

Then, the unexpected joy arrived. Today, as Monday shared his photo with a lady, the reason for his request for my number became clear. He had not only achieved success in business but had also found love. Excitement filled the air as Monday revealed that he had proposed, and she joyously accepted.
Monday's triumph is a testament to the power of persistence and hard work. This story serves as an inspiration for youths facing challenges, reminding them that with determination, honesty, and resilience, dreams can be achieved against all odds.

August 11, 2022  Concerned Catholics in Nigeria have called for the suspension of Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong for dragging the name of Pope into local politics that has nothing to do with the Church. According to the group, Lalong should be punished for bringing the name of Pope and the Catholic Church to disrepute while giving his reasons for accepting to serve as Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
