In a recent press release, Professor Pandam Yamsat, the Chairman of the Plateau State Inter-Faith Council, has raised a red flag concerning the emergence of individuals masquerading as leaders of the council. These imposters have falsely claimed authority, tarnishing the revered name and principles of the council.
The statement emphasized the council's complete disassociation from a supposed World Press Conference organized by these fraudulent individuals. Professor Yamsat clarified that at no point did the council convene to address or denounce the decisions made by the Court of Appeal nullifying the election of the People's Democratic Candidates during the 2023 general elections in the state.
Professor Yamsat urged the general public to disregard any statements purportedly coming from the council, as these misrepresented communications serve only the personal agendas of these individuals and do not reflect the genuine stance or actions of the Plateau State Inter-Faith Council.
