Our backs were once bent on our own land, but now we strive to stand tall, fighting for a brighter tomorrow by being stronger today. I proudly represent Nigeria, not just because it bears my name, but because it embodies my heritage and defines my identity.
While some may dismiss this pride as unfounded, criticizing me for not hanging my head in shame, I refuse to succumb to the pain caused by the corrosive greed that tarnishes my country's name. I'm weary of the constant violence plaguing my state and other regions, and I'm disheartened by the politicians who seem bent on dismantling our future.
However, my pride endures as I gaze upon the resilient faces of my fellow countrymen and women. It's within their unwavering spirit that my true source of pride lies. On this day of independence, I hold onto the belief that Nigeria will not just survive but thrive.
Great, God bless Nigeria!
