Ngas Nation: A Rich Tapestry of Tradition and Culture

**Ngas Nation: A Rich Tapestry of Tradition and Culture**

For years, the Ngas people have been the torchbearers of Plateau's cultural heritage, and their annual Pusdung Festival stands as a testament to the depth of their tradition. The Ngas, predominantly found in the Pankshin and Kanke local government areas of Plateau's central senatorial district, have a rich and storied history that transcends generations.

The Ngas Nation is celebrated for its cultural diversity and vibrant customs. It is a place where traditions have been meticulously preserved, and the annual Pusdung Festival serves as a stage to showcase this cultural richness. The festival, Plateau's earliest cultural extravaganza, has been a beacon of Ngas heritage, bringing together people from far and wide to partake in the festivities and experience the warm hospitality that is characteristic of the Ngas people.

With a history steeped in tradition, the Ngas Nation has always been an epitome of unity and community spirit. The Pusdung Festival has historically played a pivotal role in preserving and passing down these cultural values to future generations.

This year's Pusdung Festival, held from the 1st to the 7th of October 2023, broke with tradition by extending the celebration into a week-long fiesta. The inclusion of activities such as the Economic and Business Round Table meeting underscores the Ngas people's adaptability and forward-thinking approach, balancing the preservation of their heritage with modern development initiatives.

As the Ngas Nation continues to evolve, embracing both tradition and progress, the Pusdung Festival remains a vibrant symbol of their cultural identity. This year's extended celebration marks a significant milestone in the history of the Ngas people, reaffirming their commitment to preserving their heritage while actively engaging in contemporary economic and business endeavors.

I have Ngas blood running in my viens.
CONGRATULATIONS NGAS NATION
