ABOUT CLAPAI ORPHANAGE

CLAPAI Orphanage, the venue of this years award  is located  in Zara Zong, Jos East LGA, Plateau State, it is  owned and managed by Mr & Mrs Emmanuel Nyabam popularly known as Baban Yara (Emmanuel) and Maman Yara (kyenpiya)
It is worthy of note to find out that former Governor of Plateau State, Senator Jonah Jang built the School for the Orphans and handed it over to CLAPAI ORPHANAGE and the MISHKAHAM Mwhagavul, HRH Da John Putmang Hirse donated a big land for the Orphanage in Mangu  to expand in it's vision to be the first Orphanage to pioneer it's own University.
CLAPAI will be celebrating their 17th year in voluntary humanitarian  service to the motherless, Fatherless, Traumatized, victims of ethnic, religious and terrorist attacks, domestic violence, child abuse etc.
A trip to the Orphanage home in  Kangang (Jos South) and ZaraZong (Jos East) exposes us to the fact that we have not done enough as individuals, Groups,Communities and Government to the plight of the orphans in our society, we have enough to even waste but some barely have to eat and make it through the next day.
CLAPAI through their commitment and onerous service to humanity has been able to build a Primary and Secondary School that houses about 160 pupils at the moment with scarce resources.
They search for volunteer teachers and ensure that these pupils rise through the ranks despite financial setbacks,  they make it a point of duty to shoulder WAEC fees and to help  them  gain admission into the University.
The Orphanage home  depends on the goodwill of well-spirited individuals to clothe and feed the young lads. They are certainly in  need of  more aides and support to ensure that these orphans get the needed support to succeed in Life.

IN THE LIGHT OF THE ABOVE, PSMA is calling on well-spirited individuals to come in and support. If you have any clothes to give away  (Children & Adults), foodstuffs to share,  if you want to offer your service as a teacher to the students, you want to donate  Laptops and desktops for ICT center, or you are a health caregiver, you want to donate drugs or financial resources to the Project, kindly reach out to the Project Coordinators on this  number 07069169991,07068192711
