Birthday celebrations on a common belief are events that shows evidence of earthly existence. But birthdays are also times of reflection, assessment and evaluation of ourselves as well as future plans on how best we can evolve.
As a political figure, assessing Isaac Kwallu has frequently been a topic of public discuss, taking centre stage in almost every public domain. But can a common person ever have such grace? I don't think. There seems to be something special about him to warrant such public attention. His record in office for just an ample time have made it impossible to talk about political success stories without using IKK as a relevant example.
His disciplined growth pattern coupled with a determined lifestyle have set the tune for his humility and love for the commoners, while his educational and enterpreneural values have made him such a great leader that sees opportunity even when others can't. No wonder some take forever in office with nothing to show but his little spell as Quaan-Pan Local Government Council Chairman speaks volumes. Leadership is a gift, and Isaac Kwallu embodies it.
Writing the scorecard of Isaac Kwallu when he was Council Chairman is a voluminous task, but the 2 weeks Free medical outreach in Cottage Hospital Kwalla where people with life threatening illnesses received different medical treatments including minor and major surgeries was a feat that saw other Chairmen emulate.
Tarring the LGA road, managing our escalating security situation then by engaging agile men of Vigilante Group of Nigeria and paying them monthly stipends, payment of allowances to the aged/less privileged, clearing backlog of Quaan-Pan LGC debts, starting rural electrification, et.c are certain records associated with him that saw him emerge as the best performing Chairman in Plateau State.
We'll have to take a pause here and toast a glass of wine for greatness, but before then, Happy Birthday to the Captain of the Divine Mandate Movement, Chief Dr. Isaac Kyale Kwallu FCIA, PDP Flag Bearer Mikang, Quaan-Pan and Shendam Federal Constituency.
