Breaking News:  Paramount Ruler of Da Gwom Rwei of Vwang District  kidnapped near NIPSS in Plateau State

Gunmen have Kidnapped HRH. Da Gyang Balak Gut, the Da Gwom Rwei of Vwang District of Jos-south Local Government Area of Plateau State.

AIT gathered that the Paramount Ruler was kidnapped on Sunday night on his way home to Vom, few meters from the Gate of the National Institute For Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru in Jos.

Spokesman for the Plateau State Police Command ASP Gabriel Ubah Confirmed the incident

Vwang District is where the famous National Veterinary Research Institute (NVRI), Vom is situated in Plateau State.

The incident is coming in less than one month after the abduction of another traditional ruler in Plateau State HRH Charles Dakat, who is the Paramount Ruler of Gindiri, in Mangu Local Government Area

2023: Catholics Berate Lalong Over Attempt To Drag Pope Into Politics

August 11, 2022  Concerned Catholics in Nigeria have called for the suspension of Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong for dragging the name of Pope into local politics that has nothing to do with the Church. According to the group, Lalong should be punished for bringing the name of Pope and the Catholic Church to disrepute while giving his reasons for accepting to serve as Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
