Marry yourselves, NYSC DG, urges Corp members.

Former Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Suleiman Kazaure has urged corps members from different tribes to inter-marry.

He said it was as an avenue of boosting national integration.

This remark was given by General Kazaure when he visited corps members undergoing their orientation programme.

He noted that the essence of the scheme was to ensure national integration, which would bring the desired unity in the country.

“I wish to see you intermarry within the orientation period to enhance national integration, as this would be achieved through adequate bonding in the camp.

“The Ramadan did not stop us from coming to the camp as I received lots of text messages inquiring about the possibility of organizing the camp within the period.”

He noted that he insisted that the orientation programme would be organized and that by God’s grace it went on and the Corps members would soon leave the camp.

2023: Catholics Berate Lalong Over Attempt To Drag Pope Into Politics

August 11, 2022 Concerned Catholics in Nigeria have called for the suspension of Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong for dragging the name of Pope into local politics that has nothing to do with the Church. According to the group, Lalong should be punished for bringing the name of Pope and the Catholic Church to disrepute while giving his reasons for accepting to serve as Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
