The Nigeria Police Force has dismissed a constable, Liyomo Okoi, who was seen flogging a man with a machete in a viral video in July. In the viral video, Okoi had his gun in one hand and held the cutlass in the other hand with which he assaulted the man while saying, "He threatened me." The Force Spokesperson, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi in a statement on Monday said, "The Force has dismissed Force No. 524503 PC Liyomo Okoi attached to Ekori Divisional Headquarters, Cross Rivers Police Command for gross misconduct captured in a viral video on 31st July, 2022 where he was flogging a man with a machete. Celebrity barman, Okechukwu Pascal, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has escaped unhurt from an armed attack in Anambra State. While his vehicle was riddled with bullets, Cubana Chiefpriest said him and his entourage are safe. He said, "God Did!!! The marathon continues, all my people are safe & sound. Veteran music producer, Michael Ajereh, professionally known as Don Jazzy has broken his silence after losing his mother to cancer. The Mavin Records boss on 22, July 2022, had announced the death of his mother on his Instagram page.  Don Jazzy, in a post on Sunday, thanked his well-wishers for their support. He wrote, “Experience is truly the best teacher. Before I thank everyone for their calls, visits and messages, I need to first apologise to my friends and associates who lost loved ones and don’t think I was there enough for them. I know better now and sadly, I had to learn the hard way. “Thank you, everyone, for your support over the last few days. It has meant the world to me. Funeral details will be shared once finalised. Two Nollywood actors, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornell, have been reported missing in Enugu State. Actress and Director of Communications, Actors Guild of Nigeria, Monalisa Chinda, revealed this in a statement on her Instagram page, on Friday. According to the statement, the two actors were reported missing after their family members confirmed they didn't come back from a film location at Ozalla Town, Enugu state.
