DELEGATES DILEMMA: AN INSIGHT BY HON. KING NAANKANG DAPOET

*DELEGATES DILEMMA: AN INSIGHT BY HON. KING NAANKANG DAPOET* In the course of going round for my campaign I met many people with many different advice's to offer. One particular one was the most exciting. He is a delegate from my place and while discussing to canvass support, he was bold to ask me if I had lots of money to buy delegates during my primaries? I asked him how much money does he expect to get at the party primaries and he said he knows a candidate that can offer each delegate 200,000 each. I told him I didn't have that kind of money but what I have is a strong conviction to contribute my quota to bring good tidings to my constituents. I broke down his 200k into 4 years by dividing 200000 by 1440 days and we got about 138 naira daily. So I gave it to him that 138 naira is what he makes daily for 4 years from what he has sold his conscience for, that cannot buy a plate of food for him not to talk of his wife, kids and members of his ward which he represen

He appreciates the role the Governor and the security agencies played in trying to bring relative and  lasting peace in the area

TINUBU AND 2023 - Written by Awalme Gowal .

FROM THE STABLES OF A WRITER AND POET. SUCCINCTLY EXPRESSED BY, Awalme Gowal . TINUBU AND 2023 It takes a great mind to be strategic in his thoughts and actions. I have long been an admirer of Bola Ahmed Tinubu because of his his political dexterity and style of leadership. Leadership, as I see it, is about vision, organisation, and management. Having a clear cut picture of what you intend to paint and recruiting the right materials to give you the touch of the different shades you conceived  mentally. My knowledge of Bola Tinubu is relatively recent. Back in 1999 when he became the Governor of Lagos State. I was just graduating from secondary School and observed from a bird's eye view how he stuck to his ideology of a progressive  amidst all the arrows shot at him by the then President Oluesegun Obasanjo. His steadfastness to his beliefs was what appealed to my young revolutionary mind that in present reflection I can say I'm his fan. No one can take away the fact
