A Short Life's Lesson From Plateau...

The Governor-Elect of Plateau State, Mr Caleb Mutfwang, was elected as Mangu Local Government Chairman in Plateau on February, 25th, 2014 and sworn in on March 3, 2014, but was removed from office by Governor Lalong on July 5, 2015, barely two months after he took over as governor. Lalong, who won election on the platform of the APC had, on June 5, 2015 sacked all the seventeen elected PDP Chairmen who still had more than a year to serve out their two-year tenure and replaced them with Interim Management Committees. The Chairmen were angry and dragged the governor to court to allow them complete their tenure but the governor stood his ground and forced them out of office. Mr. Caleb Mutfwang, who is now the Governor-Elect of Plateau State, became the face of the advocacy by the sacked LG Chairmen to reclaim their offices after he was made their spokesperson. But as fate will turn out, the same Governor Lalong, who forced him out of office in 2015, will be handing over to him

MOTHER'S LOVE

There are multiple ways we can replicate the love of God to humanity. This is usually quoted in holy books, taught in homes and social groups as moral values but the one thing that personifies it most is the love of a mother to her children. She's the pillar, the building block and the roof with which the home to this kids is built. Mothers bear pains we never could imagine, she can cross the sea, jump into fire, take a bullet and stay under any harsh condition just to keep her child safe.  The love is epitomized in the picture above where though the injection is given to the little and helpless child, it's obvious that the greater pain is felt by the mother who understands every bit of joy and sorrow in life. The love of a mother to a child is imaginary. A humble and caring woman, mother of 3 Umble Adams is the CEO of Dassler Nig Gifts and souvenirs, Jos, plateau state. THE MENACE OF INDISCRIMINATE PARKING OF TRAILERS ON MAJOR HIGHWAY IN JOS METROPOLIS*

* Plateau state with its strategic location as a transit state from the six states of the North East and land locked country of Cameroon and Chad Republics positioned her to be busy with all form of  vehicular traffics. 1. Statistically one cannot find any document on the number of trailers either laden or empty that use Jos as a transit state, this is due to lack of attention by previous governments and her agencies that is supposed to check such activities. 2. Plateau state stands to reap the benefits of such traffic when the right policy and infrastructure is put in place by providing the needed services to the truckers which can be government wholly owned or by using the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. 3. The menace that is created in the city center is getting out of hand. The Dadin Kowa general area has in the last four years consistently been used as a parking lot for long distant drivers of articulated trailers thereby destroying the road, defacing the beaut
